ELECTRA - The Hamlin Pied Pipers held on for a 42-35 win over Electra Friday night in their Class 2A Division II bi-district playoff game, despite giving up 21 points in the final quarter.

Hamlin's John Barrera scored the winning touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 31-yard run.

The Pied Pipers, 9-2, produced 326 yards in total offense, but the Tigers held a 17-8 edge in first downs.

Electra ended its season with a 7-4 season record.

Hamlin will advance to face Spearman next week in the area round.
