Thursday, November 19, 1998 Area Business Notes ROBY - A new business, the Boll Weevil Cafe, opened Monday
in the former Suzie's Fish & Grill Building on Highway 180
here. The cafe is owned and operated by Zanna Anderson. The first
week the cafe will be open from 4-8 p.m. daily. Beginning Saturday,
regular hours will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. every day except
Sunday. The cafe will specialize in chicken fried steaks, seafood and
Mexican food, but will have other menu items, Anderson said. BIG SPRING - Dr. Ron Huse has opened West Texas Spine and Pain
Clinic at 1409 Lancaster. Huse was licensed to practice chiropractic in 1975 and currently
operates six clinics around the stae. He will work with Dr. Ed
Corday, M.D., at the local clinic. Clinic hours are 8 a.m. to noon and 2-6 p.m. Monday through
Friday. Telephone number is 263-3182. BIG SPRING - A new Metal Mart store specializing in metal buildings
and steel roofing has opened at 3013 N. Highway 87. Phone number
is 263-0430 or (800) 690-5647. BIG SPRING - The Karat Patch hasmoved to a new location at
997 FM 700, next door to The Master's Touch. The firm deals in
original designs in gold and silver. BIG SPRING - Chris Cole is the new assistant vice president
over bank operations for The State National Bank of Big Spring. He has been with the bank for nine years, most recently as
manager of data processing. CLYDE - Dr. Larry Long has been appointed dean of the 500-student
honors college program at Harding University in Searcy, Ark. Long,
a distinguished professor of English, is the son-in-law of Eldon
and Jo Odem of Clyde. Long is a 1972 graduate of Abilene Christian
University. He is married to Donna Odom Long who is a public school
teacher in Searcy. COLEMAN - Pegasus Satellite Television, the fifth largest direct
broadcast satellite provider in the country, has announced it
recently acquired Coleman County Telephone Cooperative's satellite

Spiller, branch manager of First American Bank, to serve on the
interim board for the agency's Texas Forts Trail pilot project,
part of the regional heritage tourism program. The board's first task will be to assist with the hiring of
a regional coordinator for the Texas Forts Trail.
