Thomas out for season with knee injury
WICHITA FALLS (AP) - The Dallas Cowboys announced Monday that
defensive end-linebacker Broderick Thomas will be lost for the
season.
Thomas has a left knee injury, suffered in Sunday's practice
at Midwestern State University.
The 10-year veteran from Nebraska was expected to be the Cowboys'
best player rushing the passer this season.
His loss has sent Dallas in search of a possible veteran replacement.
He became the second player lost for the season due to a knee
injury.
Wendell Davis, a cornerback, suffered a left knee injury Saturday
and will be out for the year.
