Shelby Faith Lambert
HAMLIN -- Shelby Faith Lambert, infant daughter of Tammy and
Terry Lambert of Hamlin, died Tuesday in an Abilene hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hamlin East
Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Weaver officiating, directed by Foster-Adams
Funeral Home.
Shelby was born in Abilene.
Other survivors include one brother, Taylor Lambert of Hamlin;
her maternal grandparents, Betty and Billy Weaver of Hamlin; her
paternal grandparents, Helen Louise and Conrad Lambert of Tuscola;
her maternal great-grandmother, Martha Lee Spalding of Hamlin;
and several aunts and uncles.
Moses Aaron Brown
SWEETWATER -- Moses Aaron Brown, 17, junior at Sweetwater High
School, died Sunday in Snyder.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Sweetwater First Baptist
Church with the Rev. Eddie Whitefield officiating. Burial will
be in Sweetwater Cemetery, directed by McCoy Funeral Home.
Moses was born in Abilene and was a lifelong Sweetwater resident.
He played fullback for the Sweetwater Mustang football team and
earned fifth place in the state powerlifting meet. He was a member
of First Assembly of God.
Survivors include his parents, Toby and Gracie Brown of Sweetwater;
four foster sisters, Stacy Catalina and Missy Catalina, both of
Fort Worth, and Julie Catalina and Lindy Catalina, both of Abilene;
one brother, Bernard L. Porter of Fort Worth; his maternal grandmother,
Esther Porter of Fort Worth; his paternal grandmother, Catherine
Brown of Sweetwater; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews
and cousins.
Ermon Eugene Hatley
DUBLIN -- Ermon Eugene Hatley, 73, died Tuesday at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Dublin First Baptist
Church with the Rev. David Roberts and Dr. Beryl Cavin officiating.
Burial will be Dublin Liveoak Cemetery, directed by Harrell Funeral
Home.
Mr. Hatley was born in Comanche County and married Joycelyn
Spikes in 1950 in Tahoka. He moved to Dublin in 1950 and worked
as an operator and agent for Santa Fe Railroad for 38 years and
deputy tax collector for the Erath County tax assessor-collector's
office for 11 years. He was a former Rotarian and was a director
of the Erath County Crimestoppers Program and Dublin Industrial
Foundation. He was a trustee of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Dublin; one daughter, Lisa Weaver
of Dublin; his mother, Eddie Hatley of Dublin; and two grandchildren.

Joseph Daniel O'Connor
SWEETWATER -- Joseph Daniel O'Connor, 60, died Sunday in Abilene.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in McCoy Funeral Home Chapel
of Memories with the Rev. Lester Carter officiating. Burial will
be in Sweetwater Cemetery.
Mr. O'Connor was born in Charleston, Mo., and married Ila Dillashaw
in 1968 in Sweetwater. He moved to Sweetwater in 1968 and worked
in maintenance for ADM Feeds.
Survivors include his wife, of Sweetwater; four daughters,
Kristi Pack and Karen O'Connor, both of Sweetwater, and Sue Weakley
and Nicka Johnson, both of East Prairie, Mo.; one son, Michael
O'Connor of East Prairie, Mo.; his mother, Annie Hicks of East
Prairie, Mo.; three brothers, James O'Connor of Anniston, Mo.,
Howard O'Connor of Sweetwater and Earl O'Connor of Kewanee, Mo.;
three sisters, Sally Mouser of St. Louis, and Nelda Fitzgerald
and Ella Louise Cravens, both of Wyatt, Mo.; and 12 grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Texas Kidney Foundation or Hendrick
Cancer Center.
Anna White
KNOX CITY -- Anna A. White, 68, died Monday at her home after
a long illness.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Knox City First United
Methodist Church with the Rev. Virgil Ichtertz officiating. Burial
will be in Knox City Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. White was born in Hood County and attended North Texas
Teachers College, now the University of North Texas, in Denton.
She was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Knox County
Library and Child Welfare boards. She was a member of First United
Methodist Church and was the widow of Henry L. White, whom she
married in 1962 in Knox City.
Survivors include two sons, Wade Arledge of New Braunfels and
Adam White of Coppell; one daughter, Jane Arledge of Grand Junction,
Colo.; and one brother, Jack Anderson of Alta Loma, Calif.
Memorials may be sent to Knox City First United Methodist Church.
Lillie Miles
COLORADO CITY -- Lillie Miles, 72, lifelong Mitchell County
resident, died Monday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Plainview Church of Christ
with Jackie Qualls officiating. Burial will be in Loraine Cemetery,
directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Miles was born in Hyman and married Neil Roy Miles in
1954 in Lovington, N.M. She was a homemaker and was a member of
Plainview Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, of Colorado City; one son, Roy
Miles of Dallas; two sisters, Bertha Dolberry of Colorado City
and Dixie Tankersley of Midland; two brothers, Tommy Smith of
Colorado City and Ed Smith of Seminole; and one grandchild.
Lyle Gordon Niemi
BROWNWOOD -- Lyle Gordon Niemi, 61, died Tuesday in a local
nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Greenleaf Cemetery
with Pat Van Pelt officiating, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral
Home.
Mr. Niemi was born in Rock River Township, Mich., and served
with the U.S. Army. He moved to Brownwood in 1982 and worked as
a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Jan Morgan Niemi of Brownwood;
one daughter, Stacy Bachamp of Michigan; one sister, Ruth Rivers
of Negaunee, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
Christopher Moon
CROSS PLAINS -- Christopher L. Moon, 28, of Arlington, died
Monday in a Fort Worth hospital.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today in Higginbotham Funeral Home
Chapel with Dr. Richard Chaffin officiating. Burial will be in
Cottonwood Cemetery.
Mr. Moon was born in Cisco and worked as a personal computer
technician. He was a member of East Cisco Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Arron Michael Moon of Arlington;
his mother and stepfather, Vickie and Lonnie Burkhalter of Cleburne;
his father and stepmother, Jesse and Allyson Moon of Cross Plains;
one brother, Shane Moon of Minneapolis; his grandmothers, Bessie
Louise Hargrove of Burkburnett and Gethra Stuart of Pacolet, S.C.;
and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Luciano F. Reyna, 53, died Sunday in Merkel. Services are pending
with Allen-Korzenewski Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd.

Andy Booker, 66, died Monday in a local hospital. Services
are pending with Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.

CISCO -- Lela Latch Lloyd, 92, died Tuesday in an Eastland
hospital. Services are pending with Kimbrough Funeral Home.
Louis Johnson
BALLINGER -- Louis Johnson, 59, died Tuesday at his home. Services
are pending with Rains-Seale Funeral Home.
Mark Cothrum
GUYMON, Okla. -- Mark Cothrum, 41, relative of some Abilene
residents, died Saturday from injuries received in an automobile
accident southeast of Elkhart, Kan. Graveside services will be
at 10 a.m. Thursday in Elmhurst Cemetery, directed by Bunch-Roberts
Funeral Home.
Jean Marie Stone
STEPHENVILLE -- Jean Marie Stone, 62, died Tuesday in a local
nursing home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Lacy Funeral
Home Chapel.
Clarence 'Mac' McPherson
BROWNWOOD -- Clarence "Mac" McPherson, 73, died Tuesday
in a local hospital. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday
in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel.
Robert Garcia
SNYDER -- Robert I. Garcia, 65, died Monday in a Lubbock hospital
after a lengthy illness. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in
Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be at 11 a.m.
Thursday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Mary Ruth Otwell
DE LEON -- Mary Ruth Otwell, 92, of Hurst and formerly of De
Leon, died Monday in Hurst. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday
in De Leon First United Methodist Church, directed by Nowlin Funeral
Home.
