Williams James McKeehan
James W. McKeehan, 56, died Thursday at his home.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Sipe Springs
Cemetery with Dyron Daughrity officiating, directed by Allen-Korzenewski
Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd.
Mr. McKeehan was born in Gorman and served with the U.S. Air
Force in Vietnam. He was a Baptist and was the widower of Sharon
Lee McKeehan.
Survivors include one son, John McKeehan of Abilene; three
daughters, Ruth Theocharides of New Orleans, Debra Bean of Sonora
and Rhonda McKeehan of Abilene; one brother, Marvin McKeehan of
Comanche; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
W.B. 'Buck' Williams
CLYDE -- W.B. "Buck" Williams, 90, died Wednesday
in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Bailey Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Riley Fugitt, Dr. Jerry Joplin and Garland
Sampson officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. in Petersburg
Cemetery.
Mr. Williams was born in Floyd County, where he attended school,
and received a general equivalency degree at age 60. He was a
retired carpenter and moved to Clyde in 1972 from Plainview. He
was the widower of Evelyn Isabell McClintock Williams. He married
Lora Simmons Collins in 1980 in Abilene and was a member of Golden
K Kiwanis Club, Clyde Senior Citizens and the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of Clyde; three sons, Kenneth Williams
of Abilene, Kevin Rodney Williams of Conroe and Arthur Williams
of Gulfport, Miss.; three daughters, Benni Belle Price of Houston,
Jimmie Strand of Oklahoma City and Priscilla Dick of Tupelo, Miss.;
two stepsons, W.L. Thompson of Arlington and Thomas A. Thompson
of Farmington, N.M.; one stepdaughter, Lora Jane Fisher of El
Paso; one brother, Paul Williams of Kingsland; one sister, Thelia
Clubb of Austin; 22 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
P.B. 'Red' Choate
MINERAL WELLS -- P.B. "Red" Choate, 82, father of
an Abilene resident, died Wednesday in Mineral Wells.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Eleventh Avenue Church
with the Rev. R.B. Shiflet officiating. Burial will be in Holders
Chapel Cemetery in Parker County, directed by Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner
Funeral Home.
Mr. Choate was born in Mineral Wells, where he was a lifelong
area resident. He married Katie Wilkins in 1931 in Mineral Wells
and owned Choate Electric Co. He was a member of the Knights of
Pythias and Eleventh Avenue Church.
Survivors include his wife of Mineral Wells; four daughters,
Betty Boone of Abilene, Pat Stoermer of North Richland Hills,
Martha Martin of Burleson and Nancy Choate of Fort Worth; three
sons, Dick Choate, Oscar Choate and Walter Choate, all of Mineral
Wells; one sister, Martha Lou Dotson of Houston; 27 grandchildren;
36 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.
Antonio Moreno
LORAINE -- Antonio Moreno, 94, died Thursday in a Colorado
City hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Kiker-Seale Funeral
Home Chapel in Colorado City. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m.
Saturday in St. Ann's Catholic Church in Colorado City with the
Rev. Ray Wilhelm officiating. Burial will be in Loraine Cemetery.
Mr. Moreno was born in Mexico and moved to Loraine in 1926.
He was a farmer. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church
and was the widower of Jesusita Moralez Moreno, whom he married
in 1927 in Colorado City.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Velasquez of Snyder and
Arlene Alvarado of Sweetwater; six sons, Tanis Moreno and Manuel
Moreno, both of Sweetwater, Luis Moreno of Hereford, Raymond Moreno
and Abe Moreno, both of Abilene, and Larry Moreno of Summerville;
58 grandchildren; and 67 great-grandchildren.
Fretta Gayle Edwards Wright
ROCHESTER -- Fretta Gayle Edwards Wright, 66, died Tuesday
in an Abilene hospital after a long illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Rochester First Baptist
Church with the Revs. Truett Kuenstler and Ed Buerkley officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Weinert, directed
by Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wright was born in Weinert, where she graduated from high
school, and married Coleman Wright in 1950 in Haskell. She was
a member of the last graduating class at Mary Meek School of Nursing.
She worked as a registered nurse for 29 years and was employed
by Stamford Memorial Hospital, Haskell and Knox County hospitals,
Dr. W.F. Thompson & Associates Clinic, Mental Health-Mental
Retardation and Skyview Living Center until retiring. She was
a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of Rochester; one son, Robert
Doyle Wright of Abilene; one daughter, Lizette Camille Hastey
of Rochester; one sister, Estalyn Liles of Haskell; three grandchildren;
one aunt; and one nephew.
Bob Henshaw
HASKELL -- Bob Henshaw, 66, of Casper, Wyo., and formerly of
Haskell, died May 20 at his home after a long illness.
A memorial service was held Tuesday in Casper, Wyo. Burial
was Thursday in Willow Cemetery, directed by Holden-McCauley Funeral
Directors.
Mr. Henshaw was born in Haskell and served with the U.S. Marine
Corps during the Korean War. He graduated from Sul Ross University
in Alpine and began working as a geologist in Odessa. He moved
to Casper, Wyo., in 1968. He worked as a director of gas and gas
liquids for Phillips Petroleum for 30 years until retiring.
Survivors include two sons, Scott Henshaw of Casper, Wyo.,
and Brady Henshaw of Albuquerque, N.M.; his mother, Iola Taylor
Henshaw of Haskell; one sister, Jeanette Taylor of Washington,
D.C.; and one grandchild.

Jack Donald Carlisle
BROWNWOOD -- Jack Donald Carlisle, 59, died Friday in an Abilene
hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Cox Cemetery
in Comanche County, directed by Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
Mr. Carlisle was born in Sidney and was a self-employed dry
wall contractor. He was a member of Blanket Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Donnie Carlisle of Roanoke and
Jeff Carlisle of Wichita Falls; one stepson, Dwayne Trotter of
Plano; two daughters, Judy Baker of Blanket and Laura Feliciano
of Wichita Falls; his mother, Mary Lee Carlisle of Brownwood;
one brother, Cecil Carlisle of San Antonio; and two sisters, Sue
Thompson and Kitty Carlisle, both of Blanket.
Frank Arthur Wormood
ANSON -- Frank Arthur Wormood, 80, died Wednesday in an Abilene
hospital.
The body was cremated. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m.
today in Anson First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Loren
Gardner officiating, directed by Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home.
Mr. Wormood was born in New York and graduated from Brewster
Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H. in 1935. He was a navigator and instructor
with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He married Dorothy
Castles in 1946 in Anson and lived in Odessa for many years. He
worked for Forest Oil in Odessa and Shell Oil in Midland until
retiring and moved to Anson in 1977.
Survivors include his wife of Anson; one sister, Jean Cross
of Rochester, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews.
Walter Blandford
BROWNWOOD -- Walter Blandford, 79, died Tuesday in Brownwood.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Davis-Morris Funeral
Home Chapel with the Rev. R.J. Elkins officiating.
Mr. Blandford was born in Lebanon Junction, Ky., and worked
as a salesman for Oscar Meyer. He moved to Brownwood in 1973 and
was a Methodist.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Hackbarth of Antigo,
Wisc.; one sister, Mary Hartz of Louisville, Ky.; four grandchildren;
and four great-grandchildren.
Thomas Paul Ambrose
WINTERS -- Thomas Paul Ambrose, 72, formerly of Odessa, died
Thursday in a Ballinger hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Sunset Memorial
Gardens in Odessa with the Rev. Glenn Shoemake officiating, directed
by Winters Funeral Home.
Mr. Ambrose was born in New York City and served on submarines
with the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He
married Patricia Moreland in 1952 in Honolulu and moved to Odessa
in 1953. He worked as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in the
Crestwood Station in Odessa until retiring in 1981. He moved to
Winters in 1992 and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of Winters; two sons, Thomas Paul
Ambrose Jr. of Irving and Philip Ambrose of Garland; one daughter,
Debbie Van Stavern of Midland; five sisters, Rose Giambroni, Mildred
Sola, Eleanor Hannah and Elizabeth Campagna, all of New York,
and Jennie Caloger of Pennsylvania; and nine grandchildren.
Lewis Dee Whorton Sr.
BROWNWOOD -- Lewis Dee Whorton Sr., 69, of Harbor Point at
Lake Brownwood, died Thursday at his home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Heartland Funeral Home
Chapel in Early with Chaplain Dick Williams officiating. Burial
will be in Greenleaf Cemetery.
Mr. Whorton was born in Locker and attended school in Locker
and Brownwood. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II
and the Korean War. He married Katy Lorean Day in 1956 in Brownwood
and worked as a truck driver. He was a member of Victory Baptist
Church.
Survivors include his wife of Harbor Point; three sons, Lewis
Dee Whorton Jr. of Harbor Point, Danny Wayne Whorton of Rising
Star and Everett Ray Whorton of San Francisco; seven daughters,
Neta Butler of Lake Brownwood, Betty Mae Hall of Winslow, Ariz.,
Roseanna Stone and Joella White, both of Brownwood, Virginia Williams
of San Francisco, Carol Marie Wright of Portsmith, Va., and Ida
Mae Hourda of Breamington, Wash.; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Charles David "C.D." Holmes, 85, died Thursday at
his home. Services are pending with Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home,

STEPHENVILLE -- Kyle Haggard Livingston, 83, died Wednesday
