Bennie Kile
Bennie H. Kile, 78, died Wednesday in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Baker Heights Church
of Christ with Gayle Potter and Bill Baskett officiating. Graveside
services will be at 3 p.m. in Brown Ranch Cemetery near Coleman,
directed by Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 U.S. Hwy 277 South.
Mr. Kile was born in Coleman County and attended school in
Mozelle. He married Lois Halpain in 1945 in Waco. He moved to
Abilene in 1960 from Anson and worked for Gandy's for 19 years
and Ben E. Keith for 10 years until retiring. He was a member
of Good Sam's Travel Club and Baker Heights Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, of Abilene; two sons, Collin Kile
of Abilene and James Beasley of Cameron; two daughters, Kay Blasche
of Waco and Donna Van Benschoten of Matamoras, Pa.; two brothers,
Wesley Kile and Curtis Kile, both of Coleman; one sister, Winnie
Lane of Bangs; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Kay Skidmore
Emma Katheryn "Kay" Skidmore, 74, died Wednesday
in a Burlington, N.C. hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Rose Hill
Cemetery in Merkel with Ken Law officiating, directed by Starbuck
Funeral Home of Merkel.
Mrs. Skidmore was born in Brownwood and served with the U.S.
Army Air Corps during World War II. She was a homemaker and co-owned
Tye Town Mobile Home Estates. She was a member of American Legion
and Veterans of Foreign Wars and was the widow of Woodrow Phillip
"Phil" Skidmore, whom she married in 1945 in Brownwood.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Coley of Stoney Creek,
N.C.; one brother, Billy Ray Price of Ross; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Robert Anthony 'Bobby' Dugan
CLYDE - Robert Anthony "Bobby" Dugan, 31, died Wednesday
in a Lubbock hospital from injuries received in an automobile
accident.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Clyde Cemetery
with the Rev. James Radford officiating, directed by Bailey Funeral
Home.
Mr. Dugan was born in Sweetwater and graduated from Abilene
High School in 1985. He worked for Thomas Hicks Construction and
then Lydick-Hooks Roofing Co. He was a member of Baird Assembly
of God.
Survivors include three daughters, Brittney Dugan, Tracey Dugan
and Belle Dugan; his parents, Gloria Kay Dugan of Clyde and W.A.
"Tony" Dugan of Arizona; one brother, Curtis Sean Dugan
of Galveston; and his maternal grandmother, Mattie Burns of Clyde.

James Clayton Biggs
EASTLAND - James Clayton Biggs, 47, died Thursday in an Abilene
hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Edwards Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Elvis Whaley officiating. Burial will be
in Eastland City Cemetery.
Mr. Biggs was born in Ranger and graduated from Eastland High
School in 1969. He attended Ranger Junior College and worked for
VC Menus and as manager of Purina Feed Store in Eastland. He then
was an oilfield consultant for several years. He was employed
as a pumper by CRM Energy in Giddings since 1989. He married Shirley
Long Kearney in 1990 in Eastland County and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, of Eastland; four children, Cody
Biggs, Mandy Biggs and Danny Kearney, all of Eastland, and Tony
Kearney of Abilene; his mother, Estelle Biggs of Eastland; one
brother, Albert Biggs of Meridian; six grandchildren; and several
nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dora 'Bebe' Gilbreath
CLYDE - Dora "Bebe" Gilbreath, 82, died Wednesday
in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Clyde First Baptist
Church with Dr. Jerry Joplin officiating. Graveside services will
be at 4 p.m. in Burleson Memorial Park, directed by Bailey Funeral
Home.
Mrs. Gilbreath was born in Johnson County and graduated from
Central High School in Fort Worth. She moved to Deer Park in 1948.
She then worked as a clerk at the Deer Park Post Office until
1957 when she became postmaster. She retired in 1970 and then
moved to Clyde. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was
the widow of Glenn W. Gilbreath, whom she married in 1948 in Fort
Worth.
Survivors include one son, Sammy Blount of Pinehurst; one sister,
Theoanne Keys of Clyde; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;
and two nephews and four nieces.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Jewel Gertrude Goodall
JAYTON - Jewel Gertrude Goodall, 83, died Wednesday in a local
nursing home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Jayton First Baptist
Church with the Rev. David Fletcher officiating. Burial will be
in Jayton Cemetery, directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Aspermont.
Mrs. Goodall was born in Royston and was a homemaker. She also
worked as a seamstress. She was a member of First Baptist Church
and was the widow of R.G. Goodall, whom she married in 1932.
Survivors include two sisters, Thelma Kearney of Clairmore,
Okla., and Ann Paul of Garland; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.
Gordon Hulin
LEADAY - Gordon J. Hulin, 75, of Lake Ivie, died Sunday at
his home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mark Episcopal
Church in Coleman with the Rev. John Setzer officiating. Graveside
services will be at 4 p.m. in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa,
directed by Walker Funeral Home of Coleman.
Mr. Hulin was born in New Iberia, La., and served with the
U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was a retired oilfield
salesman and moved to Coleman County about two years ago from
the Odessa area. He served on the bishop's committee at St. Mark
Episcopal Church in Coleman and was the widower of Mary Jo Hancock
Hulin, whom he married in 1944.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Hulin of Odessa and Paul Hulin
of San Antonio; two brothers, Warren Hulin of New Iberia, La.,
and Chester Hulin of Beaumont; and five grandchildren.
Linda Kirkland
HAMLIN - Linda Kirkland, 45, died Thursday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hamlin Foursquare Church
with the Revs. Carlton Earp, James Brigham and James Teel officiating.
Burial will be in Hamlin East Cemetery, directed by Foster-Adams
Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kirkland was born in Bakersfield, Calif., and married
George W. Kirkland in 1974 in Hamlin. She worked as the manager
of Bill's Dollar Store in Anson and was a member of Foursquare
Church.
Survivors include her husband, of Hamlin; one son, Steven Lynch
of Sweetwater; one sister, Karen Gilbreath of Anson; one brother,
O.C. Lynch Jr. of Hamlin; one half-brother, Gerald Stewert of
Florida; two half-sisters, Sharon Brock of Vallejo, Calif., and
Frances Stewert of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one grandchild; and
several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy Elizabeth Boyle
Dorothy Elizabeth Boyle, 85, died Thursday in a local hospital.

COLORADO CITY - Dorothy Theis, 87, died Thursday at her home.
