Frank Hodson
BAIRD -- Frank H. Hodson, 80, died Thursday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Parker Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Ross Ellis officiating. Burial with military
honors will be in Ross Cemetery Annex.
Mr. Hodson was born in Longmont, Colo., and served with the
U.S. Army's 45th Division during World War II. He received a Purple
Heart and Silver Star. He moved to Baird in 1945. He married Alene
Chatham in 1945 and retired in 1986 from Consolidated Parts Warehouse
in Abilene. He was secretary of the Adult I Department at First
Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include his wife, of Baird; one daughter, Mary Lynn
Patterson of Dallas; one sister, Esther Holzmeister of Longmont,
Colo.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.

Leo Huff
GAINESVILLE -- Leo Huff, 86, formerly of Merkel, died Thursday
in a Lewisville hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Fairview Cemetery,
directed by Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mr. Huff was born in Idabel, Okla., and was a self-employed
horse trainer. He was a former member of Cowboy Turtles Association,
Rodeo Cowboy Association, National Cutting Horse Association and
American Quarter Horse Association. He the was the widower of
Lois Fern Benningfield Huff, whom he married in 1944 in Merkel.
Survivors include one son, Anthony Huff of Fort Worth; one
daughter, Dianne Otwell of Lewisville; four brothers and one sister;
three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Home Hospice of Cooke County.
Dorothy Garrett
BIG SPRING -- Dorothy D. Garrett, 82, died Thursday in a Lubbock
hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Big Spring First
United Methodist Church, directed by Nalley-Pickle & Welch
Funeral Home.
Rannel Conway Pavlovsky
SNYDER -- Rannel Conway Pavlovsky, 61, died Wednesday in a
local hospital after a sudden illness. Services will be at 2 p.m.
Saturday in Wright-Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.
Erma Rich
BIG SPRING -- Erma Rich, 84, died Wednesday in a local nursing
home after a long illness. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m.
today in Trinity Memorial Park, directed by Myers & Smith
Funeral Home.
