W.E. 'Pete' Waldrup
LIPAN -- W.E. "Pete" Waldrup, 81, formerly of Abilene,
died Thursday at his home.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Lipan First Baptist Church
with the Rev. Wayne Ford officiating. Burial will be in Allison
Cemetery, directed by Wiley Funeral Home.
Mr. Waldrup was born in Hood County and was a retired cattle
buyer. He formerly owned and operated Rancher's & Farmer's
Livestock Auction in Abilene, Mineral Wells Livestock Auction
and Waldrup Livestock Auction in Weatherford. He lived in Mineral
Wells for 30 years before returning to Hood County in 1998.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Waldrup of Lipan and John Waldrup
of Mineral Wells; one brother, Benny Waldrup of Lipan; six grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.

Teresa McElmurray Justice
TRENT -- Teresa McElmurray Justice, 44, of Eagle Nest, N.M.,
and formerly of the Trent area, died Wednesday from injuries received
in a one-car accident in Eagle Nest.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Trent United Methodist
Church with the Revs. Brett Rowlett and Dick Griffith officiating.
Burial will be in Trent Cemetery, directed by Starbuck Funeral
Home of Merkel.
Mrs. Justice was born in Sweetwater and attended Merkel High
School. She worked as the manager of the D&D Motel in Eagle
Nest, N.M.
Survivors include two sons, Blaize L. Justice and Travis Williams,
both of Abilene; one daughter, Brittny Justice of Eagle Nest,
N.M.; one brother, Joe B. McElmurray of Abilene; one sister, Elaine
Clemmer of Merkel; and several nieces and nephews.
Ralph Edwin Hatley Sr.
STAMFORD -- Ralph Edwin Hatley Sr., 71, died Friday at his
home.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Stamford First Baptist
Church with the Revs. Jesse Morton and Jay Abernathy officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, directed by Kinney
Funeral Home.
Mr. Hatley was born in Chatfield and moved to Stamford in 1950.
He married Dorothy Evelyn Koonce in 1951 in Stamford and served
with the U.S. Navy. He was a retired oilfield worker and was a
Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, of Stamford; three daughters, Teresa
Sanders and Deborah Kendrick, both of Stamford, and Carla West
of Munday; one son, Terry Hatley of Stamford; two sisters, Opal
Gilbreath of Stamford and Sue Dell Kimble of Adkins; two brothers,
Wayne Hatley of Blooming Grove and Floyd Hatley of Coolidge; eight
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews.

Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. today in the parlor of First
Baptist Church.
Hubert Perkins
BIG SPRING -- Hubert Perkins, 71, died Friday in a local nursing
home. Services are pending with Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Austin Tyler Engelson
BIG SPRING -- Austin Tyler Engelson, 4-month-old infant, of
Virginia Beach, Va., died Thursday in Virginia Beach. Services
are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
Rachel Wilkins
GOLDTHWAITE -- Rachel J. Wilkins died Friday in Austin. Services
will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel.
Vina Mae Trammell
BIG SPRING -- Vina Mae Trammell, 77, of Sterling City, died
Thursday in a Sterling City nursing home after a long illness.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Trinity Memorial
Park, directed by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Fern Portis
SNYDER -- Fern E. Portis, 81, died Thursday in a Lubbock hospital
after an illness. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in
Snyder Cemetery, directed by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Pedro Diaz
BIG SPRING -- Pedro V. Diaz, 90, died Friday in a local hospital.
Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today in Nalley-Pickle & Welch
Funeral Home Rosewood Chapel. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday in
Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
