Deadline for letters

The deadline to have political letters in our office to be considered for publication before the March 10 primary elections is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4.

Please remember that election letters must observe our regular guidelines. Letters must be signed and must not exceed 250 words. Letters shorter than that are often more effective. Letters longer than 250 words will not be printed.

In addition to the writer's name, letters must include the writer's street address and phone number. Letters may be edited for style, clarity and taste. Please limit submissions to one per month.
