What's the buzz?

Clinton is a temporary occupant of the people's house. He alone brought on scandal and disgrace in this very house.

The buzz word with the Clinton scandal coming from all corners is closure. The only way this is going to happen for some time to come would be for Clinton to resign. Then there would be immediate closure.

The Clinton clan would go its way, and who could care?

Resignation would be the decent and honorable thing for him to do at this point and best for the country as a whole. But then again, how could honor be expected of a draft-dodger and pervert?

There are good odds the main reason Clinton is fighting so hard to stay in office is for the personal legal protection that position provides. If this happens, it would buy him and his legal staff two years of time. They would probably spend most of the next two years trying to figure out how to handle or wiggle out of the big problems he will be facing when his term expires and he loses the protection of office.

I would not associate the title of president with the Clinton name. For the present, he still has the office but certainly does not deserve the title.

Another buzz phrase is $40 million. This was partly necessary to get past the lying and coverups.

What I have a real problem with is the hundreds of millions of dollars poured into the Super Collider project at Waxahachie that was doomed from the start. Also the $200 million that was required to shut down this failed project.

Hush up, Ross!

To waste your front page with comments made by Ross Perot is an affront to your readers.

If it hadn't been for that little rich man's ego, we would not have had William Jefferson Clinton as president.

All the comments made by Ross would apply equally to Ross, except for any extramarital comments. What an egotistical mess he is and had made. Let's hope his ego runs out before the year 2000.

You might ask him what he did with my $15.

Time for a change

The International Monetary Fund provides corporate welfare in a colossal way.

This welfare is doled out in the billions of dollars to the largest banks and other corporations in the world.

The Democrats would have you believe it is the Republicans who support the "rich" and that it is the Republicans who use taxpayers' money for corporate welfare.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Would you believe the Democrat congressman from the 17th District, namely U.S. Rep. Charles Stenholm, is sponsoring President Clinton's bill, which, if passed, will supply another $18 billion for the IMF to distribute worldwide?

Now you can better understand why Clinton and the Democrats oppose cutting taxes. They want to keep the money coming in so it will be available to their worldwide playmates.

This same group, known as IPAC, is devoting its time and an extremely large amount of money, much of which came indirectly from the U.S. taxpayer, trying to defeat Rudy Izzard.

Rudy Izzard will not represent the people of West Europe! Rudy Izzard will not represent the interest of the people of West Asia! Rudy Izzard will not represent the interest of the people of the West Indies!

Rudy Izzard will represent the interest of the people of West Texas.

It is time for a change.
