Throwing the last pitch

If you've let the entire summer pass without going to see Abilene's own baseball team play, this weekend is your last chance.

The Prairie Dogs close out their Texas-Louisiana League season with a three-game homestand on Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights at Abilene Christian University's Crutcher Scott Field. Games begin each night at 7:05.

Thousands of Abilene and Big Country residents have had their summer made more enjoyable by access to the fan-friendly entertainment that minor league baseball offers, and we'd like to take this opportunity to thank the players, coaches, staff and management of the Prairie Dogs for all the energy and effort they've expended on behalf of local audiences. You've made our summer special.
