Randall's husband dies

Sharon Randall’s husband, Randy, died last weekend after a long bout with cancer. Her column, which is distributed by Scripps Howard News Service and regularly appears on the Reporter-News Opinion Page, will not be written this week. Memorial services for him will be Saturday at the gym at Monterey (Calif.) High School, where he was basketball coach and a teacher.
