ARMC hosting nurse aide training
Abilene Regional Medical Center is working with Central Texas
Commercial College in Brownwood to bring a certified nurse aide
training program to Abilene.
The 80-hour course will be held at the ARMC Resource Center,
6150 David M. Collins Blvd., beginning Oct. 6. Two sets of classes

Instructors from the school will be at the ARMC Resource Center
today and Tuesday from noon-6 p.m. Interested people may ask questions,
fill out paperwork and apply for financial aid at that time.
A student, taking a full class load, should complete the work
in three weeks.
Kathy Wilson, B.S.N., R.D. and ARMC education coordinator,
said this is a beginning place for people who are interested in
getting into the health-care field.
All registration, financing and tuition payments are handled
through CTCC. For more information, contact Martha Day, (800)
