Septuplets could be gold mine for companies
By Doug Williamson / Abilene Reporter-News
Marketing.

Positioning.
Those three words are keys to business success.
How could you get big exposure on something positive?
Give the McCaughey septuplets a lifetime supply of whatever
you sell.
Look at who's already on the bandwagon.
Gerber Foods has donated baby food. MidAmerican Energy is giving
the family power for heating and cooling. Toys 'R' Us has pitched
in car seats and strollers.
TCI of Central Iowa is hooking the McCaughey house for seven
years of cable TV and, not to forget toddler Mikayla, the cable
company is giving her some gifts. Mott's Inc. is supplying 16
years of apple juice and applesauce.
Procter & Gamble is sending a lifetime supply of Huggies
diapers. Wright Chevrolet, where the father works donated a 15-seat
van.
In addition, several companies are working on building the
McCaugheys a house, including Iowa-based Clarke Cos., Onthank
Co., Pella Corp. and Maytag Corp. and Pennsylvania-based U.S.
Steel Group of USX Corp.
When the gang gets out of high school, they can attend Hannibal
La Grange College in Missouri, which has offered the seven college
scholarships.
Think what your firm might do.
My contribution is best wishes for a lifetime to Kenneth Robert,
Alexis May, Natalie Sue, Kelsey Ann, Brandon James, Nathanial
Roy and Joel Steven.
