Schwartzkopf to appear in video conference
Abilene Christian University will host a video-conference with
Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf on Oct. 16.
The PBS Leadership Series, sponsored locally by the ACU Professional
Development Office, earlier this summer featured former President
George Bush.
The Schwarzkopf presentation will be from 2-4 p.m. in the Hilton
Room of the McGlothlin Campus Center.
Schwarzkopf will focus on endurance and its role in leadership,
discuss how endurance promotes people's abilities and make recommendations
on how to use teams and grow partnerships to promote winning attitudes.
After his hour-long speech, he will respond to questions for
an hour.
Cost of the event is $75. Participants in the Bush session
may attend the Schwarzkopf event for $25.
