Consumers eating more steak
Good news for beef producers. Casual dining traffic for steak
increased by 11 percent in 1996. Figures aren't in for 1997, but
the trend appears strong.
The growing popularity of steaks is no secret to William Rice,
food and wine columnist for the Chicago Tribune.
Top bull from Stephenville
A Stephenville bull was a big winner when the American Red
Brangus Association held its covention and annual meeting in Marble
Falls recently.
The "People's Choice Bull" was "Cadillac Mr.
BOR" from Jane Davis and Jim Webb of Broken Oak Del Norte
at Stephenville.
