Announcements
Dr. Jim Webster has been installed as president of the Texas
Club of Internists for a one-year term.
The organization is limited to 125 active members and is designed
to promote discussion among physicians practicing internal medicine.
Webster is an Abilene nephrologist.

Shannon Behavioral Health Services of San Angelo is extending
to Abilene with the hiring of marketing representative Kristie
Jones.
Jones will work with Abilene employers and individuals to help
them take advantage of Shannon's hospital-based mental health
resources.
Jones holds a bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University.
She has served as special projects manager for Morris Studio and
director of community services and human resources for Nurse Care
Inc.
An Abilene resident for 12 years, she also has worked in radio
sales management at KTLC/KBCY and KKHR/KCDD.

Jack Leonard Irrigation and Water Services of Abilene has been
selected as a dealer for the Deep Aerator, a new item of farm
machinery manufactured by NH-Savage of Madill, Okla.
The Deep Aerator is designed to aerate pastures into the subsoil
without tearing up surface grass.
Honors
Boyce Baker and Robert Rasberry have received monthly honors
for March at the Middleton state prison unit.
Baker was named employee of the month. An electrician, he has
been with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice since April
1995.
Rasberry, a correctional officer, was named officer of the
month. He joined TDCJ in November 1993.

Carolyn Sutherlin and Gayle Baird, both of Century 21 Abilene
Big Country, have been recognized as being among the "Top
21" in Century 21 West Texas.
They were among the leading 21 agents in units closed for 1996.
Awards are presented annually by the Century 21 West Texas Brokers
Council.
