HALLOWEEN ONLINE
The Christian Broadcasting Network offers a "Christian
Perspective on Halloween" on its website, titled "Hallowed
or Harmful?"
The site gives a history of the Oct. 31 tradition and gives
three reasons to examine how you celebrate Halloween.
The site offers a low-key, reasoned approach to celebrating
Halloween, which for most youngsters is a harmless opportunity
to dress up and get some free candy.
However, parents who are concerned that Halloween can be harmful
to their children might want to check out this website which offers
alternatives to the traditional Halloween activities.
